CORFU. Demand continues to be 20% lower than normal.
Liquid fuel prices had barely begun to drop in Corfu before staring to rise again due to the increase in prices internationally.
According to Corfu Petrol Dealers Association president Antonis Sakkos, demand for liquid fuel remains at 20% below normal.
Mr. Sakkos told Enimerosi that the price of unleaded petrol has increased from €2.03 per litre to €2.09, diesel has increased from €1.90 to almost €2 and heating oil from €1.50 to €1.63.
Even though the price of heating oil had dropped by €0.13, not many people purchased oil as it was still too expensive.
"Consumers are still waiting for prices to drop following the increases due to international prices going up," said Mr. Sakkos.
