Resurfacing of road between Pelekas and Sinarades junction

CORFU. Ionian Islands Regional Authority has began work to improve the road network in central Corfu.
The work was contracted out in December and yesterday afternoon the road resurfacing in Pelekas was completed and is now continuing as far as the Sinarades junction. The work is scheduled to be completed soon.
The work is being supervised by the Deputy Governor for Corfu Kostas Zorbas, Deputy Governor for Infrastructure and Technical Works Manolis Orfanoudakis, Regional Council President Nikos Mouzakitis and the local community president Al. Martinis.
The resurfacing will cover large sections of the road network and Mr. Orfanoudakis told Enimerosi that the road network in Corfu will be completely transformed.
Contracted work
The contracted work for the improvement of the Central Corfu road network with a budget of €4,577,400 began last week with the construction of a pavement in Agios Ioannis.
The work is being supervised by the Deputy Governor for Corfu Kostas Zorbas, Deputy Governor for Infrastructure and Technical Works Manolis Orfanoudakis, Regional Council President Nikos Mouzakitis and the local community president Al. Martinis.
