Roadworks between Vrioni and Moraitika

Roadworks will begin on Thursday morning, from the Vrioni junction to Moraitika. The project is part of the regional programme, funded by ESPA, and includes the restoration of damaged slopes and the laying of a completely new asphalt surface.

The Regional Governor, Yiannis Trepeklis, stated on Wednesday morning: "The project involves the complete replacement of the asphalt surface, not spot repairs or patching. At the same time, interventions to repair damages will also take place, although these are not covered by the funding for the disasters; these works are expected to start soon. The tendering for these projects will take place in the coming days."
