Total of 20 classes and schools have been suspended in Corfu

According to Ionian Islands Regional Director of Education Petros Aggelopoulos, 8 secondary classes and 4 schools have been closed temporarily along with 8 primary school classes. He said that In all cases the necessary health protocols were followed and pupils from the suspended classes are following lessons online.

The following secondary schools and classes have been suspended:

Corfu 1st High School
Corfu 2nd High School
Corfu 3rd High School
Amphipagito Junior High School

Agros High School - 3rd Year Class 3 & Economics Class
Kato Korakiana Vocational High School - 1st Year Class 1 & 3rd Year Class 1
Corfu 4th High School - 3rd Year Class 3
Kastellano Junior High - 2nd Year Class 1
Corfu 2nd Junior High - 1st Year Class 4
Vocational Evening High School - 1st Year Class 3

The following primary school classes have been suspended:

Corfu 1st Primary - 6th Year Class 1
Kato Garouna Primary - 2nd, 5th and 6th Years
Kato Korakiana Primary - 5th Year Class 2
