More Corfu school classes suspended due to Covid infections

CORFU. More classes have been suspended following positive cases in primary, junior high and high school classes in Corfu.
According to the Ionian Islands Regional Department of Primary and Secondary Education, the following secondary classes have been suspended:
Vocational High School - 3rd Year Class 3
Corfu 2nd Junior High - Ist Year Class 4
Corfu 4th High School - 3rd Year Class 3
The 1st and 3rd years of Korakiana High School have been suspended since 24 May.
The following primary classes have been suspended:
Kato Garouna Primary - 2nd, 5th and 6th Years
Corfu 1st Primary - 6th Year
Kato Korakiana Primary - 5th Year Class 2
The 6th Year and the all-day section of the 14th Primary School have been suspended since 24 May after a teacher and a pupil tested positive.
In all cases the necessary health protocols were followed and the areas disinfected and pupils from the suspended classes will be following lessons online.
