Firefighters approach cruise ship on ferry boat

CORFU. All available resources are being utilised to extinguish the fire that broke out on a cruise ship docked in Corfu Port.
The fire broke out at approximately 15:30 and flared up again half-an-hour later. Firefighters approached the ship by sea on a ferry boat and Municipal watertankers are also taking part in the operation along with the Coastguard and tug boats.
The cruise ship MSC Lyrica has been docked in Corfu Port for winter since 30 January.
