CORFU. The kitchen was completely burnt out but, although the house was in danger, the fire fortunately didn΄t spread.
Fire broke out in a house in Vitalades late on Wednesday morning, 17 February. Two fire engines with four firefighters rushed to the scene from Argyrades fire station.
According to the Fire Department, the fire was quickly brought under control. The kitchen was completely burnt out but, although the house was in danger and there is an oil burner on the premises, the fire fortunately didn't spread.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
