Statement from Corfu Canine Club regarding the abuse of the two setters

CORFU. Following the incident of abuse in South Corfu, Corfu Canine Club has condemned all forms of abuse of our four-legged friends.
The statement says:
We, as dog-lovers, consider dogs to be part of our family and not as a 'tool' or a status symbol. Corfu Canine Club will always condemn acts such as that which took place this week.
People like this do not belong to the dog-loving community. As a club, we will always support anyone who fights for principles that promote the love of dogs and NEVER support anything that is contrary to that.
We hope never again to see anything like that in the future and that dogs never have to experience something like that.
