Corfu Hunting Association statement regarding cruel treatment of two dogs

CORFU. Corfu Hunting Association has expressed its outrage and disgust at the abuse of two dogs in South Corfu.
The statement says:
This behaviour is completely unacceptable and, fortunately, laws exist to deal with this.
We have complete trust in the Greek justice system and we are confident that it will show him no mercy. We are truly sorry that this "gentleman" is a hunter. A public apology from him (with is neither sufficient nor compensates for what he did) is the least that he can do.
The fact that he is not a member of our Association means that we cannot call on him to appear before us so that we can remove him. We are also sorry for the animals which were treated so cruelly but are not at all sorry for him. As this "gentleman" himself feels no shame, we are ashamed.
