CORFU. 513 people were arrested in the Ionian Islands - 299 in Corfu. 116 cases were investigated and solved.
Ionian Islands Regional Police issued a report on cases and arrests in Corfu, Zakynthos, Cephalonia and Lefkada for the month of September.
A total of 513 people were arrested - 299 in Corfu, 93 in Zakynthos, 87 in Cephalonia and 34 in Lefkada.
Included in these are 10 for thefts and burglaries, 22 for possession and trafficking of drugs and 48 for illegal entry and residence of foreign nationals.
116 cases were solved:
- 14 thefts / burglaries
- 16 possession & trafficking of drugs
- 86 other cases
