The rest of Greece remains off the FCO΄s list advising the avoidance of non-essential travel.
Travellers arriving in England from 7 Greek islands will now have to quarantine for 14 days.
The islands on the list are Lesvos, Tinos, Serifos, Mykonos, Crete, Santorini and Zakynthos. From 04:00 on Wednesday 9 September travellers arriving in England will have to quarantine for two weeks, the UK Minister of Transport announced.
The FCO updated its travel advice and now advises against non-essential travel to these 7 islands. The remainder of Greece remains off this list.
Last week Scotland ruled that travellers arriving from Greece must quarantine for 2 weeks and Wales ruled that travellers arriving from Zakynthos, Crete, Mykonos, Lesvos, Paros and Antiparos must do the same.
