CORFU. Approximately 150 sq.m. burnt - Immediate response from Fire Department with 4 fire engines and 12 firefighters.
Fire broke out in the Sinarades area just after 12 noon on Wednesday 26 August.
According to the Fire Department, the fire broke out in a wooded area and 4 fire engines with 12 firefighters immediately rushed to the area.
It was fortunate that a fire patrol vehicle was nearby which detected the fire and firefighters were able to respond immediately.
Approximately 150 sq.m. of woodland was burnt.
