CORFU. 3 fire engines with 6 firefighters rushed to the scene and were able to get the fire under control.
Three fire engines with six firefighters rushed to Gastouri this morning, Monday 6 July, just after 11:30, where a fire had broken out in a house.
According to initial information, the fire broke out in the kitchen and firefighters were able to get it quickly under control.
A significant factor in preventing the fire from spreading before the firefighters arrived was the fact that a fire extinguisher, which was in the house, was used.
