Man, 52, arrested for drugs possession

CORFU. A 52-year-old Greek was arrested by Corfu Port Authority Drugs Squad.
The man was arrested on Wednesday following the search with the sniffer dog Stitch of a vessel which had arrived at Corfu Port.
He was found in possession of a paper package containing 2g unprocessed cannabis and other cannabis products. A search was then conducted of the man's home and the following were found:
- A jar with 12g cannabis extracts
- 24 jars with a total of 1.7kg cannabis extracts
- A cardboard box with 94g cannabis leaves
The above were confiscated by Corfu Port Authority, which is conducting the investigation.
