CORFU. The second small fire in the space of a few hours following a chimney fire in a Kato Korakiana house on Saturday evening.
Fire broke out in grassland in Korakiana just after 13:00 on Sunday 29 December. Firefighters rushed to the scene and were able to get it under control and to put it out before it had the chance to spread.
This is the second - small - fire that the Fire Service has been called out for in the last few hours. There was a chimney fire in a Kato Korakiana house on Saturday evening which the owner was able to put out before firefighters arrived.
