CORFU. In a residential area opposite the Technical High School in Mantouki.
Fire broke out just before 10:30 this morning opposite the Technical High School in Mantouki. The cause is not yet known.
Firefighters rushed to the scene immediately.

According to the Fire Service, the emergency call was made by someone who saw smoke.
However, it was then established that the smoke came from an outdoor controlled fire and not from an apartment as had originally been thought. Firefighters carried out an inspection but there was no need for their services.
