CORFU. The speakers at yesterday΄s meeting were taken to see Corfu Green Spots by members of the Waste Watch Corfu Administrative Committee ahead of the meeting.
The main speakers at yesterday's Waste Watch Corfu meeting at the Chamber of Commerce were taken to see some of Corfu's Green Spots.

Following their visit to Temploni landfill, the speakers Mavropoulos, Argyropoulos, Veras and Trost i Beras were taken to some of the Green Spots where local Corfu residents are recycling and sorting at source - including Liapades, Temploni and Kalafationes.
The volunteers demonstrated how the recycling centres operate and presented statistics from the work that has been done.
When the speakers visited Temploni Green Spot they also had the opportunity to speak with local residents about what they had seen at their earlier visit to Temploni landfill.
The meeting organisers wanted to show the visitors the Green Spots because of the impressive work that has been done there.
There was also a visit to Danilia where building rubble and waste is collected.
