CORFU. For European Mobility Week - to promote alternative means of transport and movement.
Corfu Town was free of cars (as much as possible) today between 10:00 and 14:30.
Car-free day was part of European Mobility Week - promoting alternative means of transport and movement.
Cycling, of course, was allowed and encouraged.
Traffic Police closed off access to the historical centre and - for a few hours, at least - Corfu Town looked completely different from what it normally does.
There were quite a lot of people who hadn't heard about today's measures and Traffic Police were kept busy.
