Gouvia summer camp: 25 July-25 September

The 'Stamatios Desyllas' Summer Camp at Gouvia Bay will be open from 25 July to 25 September for children aged 6 - 16 who are in need of holidays, chilldren with special needs, elderly (whether or not they are at an Old People's Home) and adults with special needs.

There will be 5 periods available:

1. Thursday 25/7 to Saturday 3/8 - 10 days for those with special needs and children aged 6 - 16.

2. Tuesday 6/8 to Thursday 15/8 - 10 days for children aged 6 - 16.

3. Sunday 18/8 to Tuesday 27/8 - 10 days for children aged 6 - 16.

4. Friday 30/8 to Sunday 8/9 - 10 days for children aged 6 - 16.

5. Wednesday 11/9 to Friday 20/9 - 10 days for the elderly.

Applications can be submitted at the Old Town Hall until 23 July. Business Days 09:00 - 14:00.

Documentation required:

1. Tax Office Financial Statement or signed authorised declaration from the Tax Office if tax returns haven't been submitted.
2. Photocopy of Social Security book.
3. Doctor's certificate confirming vaccinations and that the child has no infectious diseases or psycho-neurotic problems (epilepsy etc.) and can stay at a children's camp.
4. In the case of families with three or more children - a confirmatory family certificate.

For those with special needs applications must be submitted to the Hellenic Federation of Associations of Parents and Guardians of people with Special Needs.

For senior citizens the applications must be submitted either individually or collectively via the Old People's Home they are connected to.

Please note: All those coming to the Camp must bring their own bed covers, towels and personal items.
