Arrests for noise pollution in Kavos

CORFU. Four people were arrested in Kavos in the last 24 hours (2/7 - 3/7) for noise pollution.
According to the police, the four people, aged 38, 45, 48 and 50, were arrested after noise level checks with a special electronic device showed that all four managers of cafe/bar/restaurants who were on duty were disturbing the peace of the neighbourhood.
The checks are part of the policing of tourist areas in the Ionian Islands and will continue throughout the summer season.
The four who were arrested were taken to appear before the Corfu Prosecutor.
