Man arrested in South Corfu for cultivating cannabis

CORFU. 95 plants growing to heights of up to 1.3 metres.
A 32-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday (11/6) night by the Drug Squad and officers from Lefkimmi Police Station for cultivating cannabis.
The man was found to be cultivating cannabis in a forest area with 95 plants growing to a height of up to 1.30 metres.
Police then searched the 32-year-old's house accompanied by a judicial officer and found 1,100 Euros and tools for the cultivation of the plants.
He was interrogated by the Drug Squad and then taken to appear before the Corfu Prosecutor.
