CORFU. 33-month suspended sentence and 5,300€ fine.
The court gave the 67-year-old man who shot his dog in Perama on 15 May a 33-month suspended sentence and fined him 5,300 Euros.
As he has been found guilty a police administrative fine is also automatically imposed. The 67-year-old has lodged an appeal.
A home has been found for the young dog and it is receiving medical care but despite the efforts of the vet it is probable that it will remain disabled.
