Two arrested for motorcycle thefts

CORFU. Two 18-year-old Greeks were arrested for two motorcycle thefts.
Another 21-year-old is still being sought by the police.
The two 18-year-olds were arrested on Friday (17/5) night in Corfu Town on a stolen motorcycle. The bike had been stolen by the two young men along with the 21-year-old in Corfu Town on Thursday evening.
On further investigation it was found that the three had been involved in another motorcycle theft on the night of Tuesday 7 May. The police recovered the two bikes and also found a small amount of unprocessed cannabis in the possession of one of the 18-year-olds.
They were charged with theft of motorcycles and possession of illegal drugs and taken to appear before the Corfu Prosecutor.
