Seamen on strike on May 1 - no ferry services

The Panhellenic Seamen΄s Federation (PNO) has announced that all seamen will be on strike on Wednesday 1 May from 00:01 to 24:00.
In its statement PNO said, "Despite our continuous pressure and protests and the promises from those in charge, the problems have not only remained unsolved but are growing every day with reduced personnel, pensions, insurance and continued violation of the Collective Labour Agreements regarding working hours."
The Seamen's Union is demanding that the Government and the employers finally provide solutions to the problems and calls on all members to take part in the strike.
