Two 27-year-olds arrested in Lefkimmi with 200g cannabis
drugs

CORFU. Two 27-year-olds were arrested on Wednesday night.
They were arrested by the Corfu Port Authority division of the Regional Drug Squad for violation of the law "regarding addictive substances and other laws".
Following up on information received, one of the two men was searched as he was leaving his home in Lefkimmi and was found to have in his possession a plastic bag with 11.61g unprocessed cannabis which he claimed he had bought from the other 27-year-old.
The home of the second man was searched and a plastic bag with with 166g unprocessed cannabis was found.
Searches were then carried out at both men's homes accompanied by a sniffer dog and the following were found:
- A metal grater for processing unprocessed cannabis.
- A wooden box with two roll-ups containing unprocessed cannabis as well as 18.7g unprocessed cannabis.
- Precision digital scales
The local Port Authority, which also conducted the interrogation, confiscated a total of 196.31g unprocessed cannabis along with the above items and three mobile phones.
