CORFU. He was taken to Corfu Hospital where he remains hospitalised.
The Coast Guard was called out on Thursday afternoon to a man who had been injured following an explosion whilst he was carrying out maintenance work on his boat. The accident happened near Nissaki.
The injured man was taken by private means to Corfu Hospital, where he remains hospitalised.
Corfu Port Authority is conducting an investigation into the accident which also caused some damage to the boat.
