CORFU. There was a minor incident in a supermarket car park on Wednesday evening.
The 57-year-old was arguing with riot police so he was given a breathalyser test, which showed that he was under the influence.
He was arrested and taken to the police station and when the charge procedure had been completed he was released. Meanwhile, residents had gathered outside the police station to protest at the man's arrest.
