CORFU. They claim that the Lefkimmi Popular Assembly posters were already on the walls.
The anarchist group 'Luigi Lucheni night raids anarchist group' has claimed responsibility for the attack in which paint was thrown on the walls of the Town Hall at Marasli early on Friday morning.
The claim was posted on the website athens.indymedia.org.
Members of the anarchist group made the following statement:
"On the night of Thursday 23 August there was a symbolic attack with paint on Corfu Town Hall as an expression of solidarity with the protest struggle against the creation of a landfill in Lefkimmi.
A more detailed text will follow with photos.
P.S. To prevent political exploitation of our action, we want to make clear that when we went to the own Hall the Lefkimmi Popular Assembly posters were already on the walls."
