CORFU. An act of protest against the use of Lefkimmi landfill.
Paint was thrown on the walls of the Municipal Building (Marasli) by unknown persons early on Friday morning. Cleaners arriving in the morning were the first to discover what had happened and are still trying to clean the paint off the windows, doors and walls. Apart from the paint there were also 'Lefkimmi Laiki Sinelefsi' posters on the walls with slogans "Solidarity is our weapon. Power to Lefkimmi!"
