CORFU. She congratulated the Fire Service, the Greek Police, the Civil Protection General Secretariat, the Municipality, the Regional Administration and all the volunteers.
Corfu SYRIZA MP Fotini Vaki congratulated the Fire Service, the Greek Police, the Civil Protection General Secretariat, the Municipality, the Regional Administration and all the volunteers for the way they dealt with the fire in Rachtades, north-west Corfu on Thursday.
She referred to, "the immediate response from all and the decision to evacuate the area as a precautionary measure, thus ensuring the complete safety of all and the avoidance of any danger. The fire was successfully fought and brought under control. Everyone remains in readiness for any further breakouts of fire."
