Dead and injured in wildfire devastation in Eastern Attica

ATHENS. There are 49 officially confirmed deaths from the wildfire in Eastern Attica according to the latest information from the Fire Service representative Stavroula Malliri a few minutes ago.
25 of the victims were found on a piece of land in Zougla, Mati.
There are fears, however, that the number of victims may increase as the Fire Service, Police and Port Authority have received reports of missing people. Ms. Malliri asked the relatives of missing people to call 199 to report their names and details.
156 adults have been injured, 11 of whom are intubated, as well as 16 children - none of whom are in danger.
