Young Corfu athlete sets second Greek record at European Championships

GYOR, HUNGARY. Spyridoula Karydi, coached by Pavlos Skordilis, continues to impress in Gyor, where she set a new Greek record for the triple jump to add to that for the long jump the previous day.

The young Corfu athlete Spyridoula Karydi is showing that she is in excellent form at the European Under-18 Athletics Championships in Gyor, Hungary.

Not long after winning the bronze medal in the long jump, spyridoula took part in the qualifying round for the triple jump and broke her own Greek record of 13.11 metres, set in April, with a jump of 13.15 metres.

She qualified for the final with her second jump. The best athlete from the qualifying round was Alexandra Nacheva with 13.32m.
