Young Corfu athlete wins silver

ATHENS. The 35th Greek National Indoor Athletics Championships began on Friday morning at the Peace & Friendship Stadium.
This year's championships are being held in completely different circumstances due to the pandemic.
The following Corfu athletes took part on the first day - Spyridoula Karydi in the triple jump, Panayiota Dosi in the high jump, Petros Poulis in the shot put and Spyros Doukatelis in the 60 metres.
Panayiota Dosi won the silver medal with 1.83m - an improvement on her individual best this year of 1.81 - behind the Athens athlete Ioanna Zaka who won with 1.85m.
Spyros Doukatelis didn't qualify for the final in the 60m, finishing 9th with 7.11 behind the 8th qualifier with 7.10.
18-year-old Petros Poulis was 5th in the shot put with 13,66m. O. Mouzenidis won with 19.74m
