Trial of two men arrested in Lefkimmi on Tuesday deferred

CORFU. The two men who were arrested in Lefkimmi on Tuesday afternoon during incidents in which two policemen were arrested have had their trial deferred.
The men have been charged with causing bodily harm, civil disobedience and resisting authority.
Their trial began on Friday but was adjourned until the next day. After hearing the statement of the policeman who had been injured, the court set a trial date for 13th December in order to get an expert's report on the video material from the Crime Investigation Department to see whether or not it had been edited, to confirm that the person who injured the policeman is the man who was arrested and to receive further documentation from the police.
There were several Lefkimmi residents present to show support for the arrested men.
