Events for International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (26 June)
CORFU. The ΄Nikos Moros΄ Centre for the Prevention of Addiction and Promotion of Psychosocial Health along with ΄STIRIXIS΄(Support) Society for Addictive Substances and AIDS are organizing special events.
At this time of uncertainty and continuous changes at all levels we can increase our resilience by taking strength from the values and skills that we traditionally have as a society.
The 'Nikos Moros' Organization, through its activities, creates the conditions for this potential to be converted into choices and attitudes to life which will motivate us to connect with each other, respecting different views. Consequently, the events we are organizing for 26 June highlight the cultivation of cooperative skills, teamwork and critical thought.

19:30 - 'Kids Athletics' with Corfu Athletics Clubs and 'Ioannis Capodistrias' Gymnastics Club
Cycling activities: road behaviour - Orthopetalia Club
20:00 - Creative workshop for children (6-10) with Corfu Astronomy Society
Storytelling by Vaggelis Simponis - 'Journeys in Memory' for children aged 5 and over
Saturday 23 June - People's Park
20:00 - Seminar to raise social awareness: 'Depression in modern times'

20:00 - Open event / discussion. Presentation of the results of the ESPAD Ionian Islands 2016-17 results. Co-organized with the Regional Administration and in collaboration with the Ionian Prevention Centres and the University Research Institute for Psychological Health (EPIPSY).
