66-year-old home help arrested for theft

CORFU. She was found to have been stealing systematically from the house in Ag. Ekaterinis where she worked.
A 66-year-old woman was arrested yesterday evening (31/5) for aggravated theft from a residence.
The charges brought against her were for gainful and habitual aggravated theft, as it was found that she had been systematically taking money from the house in Ag. Ekaterinis where she was working as a home help.
As part of the investigation, some banknotes were marked, some of which were found in the home help's possession when she was searched by police yesterday evening.
It was later established that the 66-year-old woman had, over a recent period of time, been systematically removing money from the house.
The woman was taken to the Prosecutor's Office.
