Volunteers cleaning up beaches throughout Corfu (Almyros & Ag. Giorgos Pagon)

The clean-up was organized by #healthy_little_eaters along with Greek and non-Greek local residents as part of the Let's Do It Greece and Let's Do It Corfu projects.

A project that brought us all closer together for a few hours, united by a common purpose and concern for our future.

Some statistics from Almyros:

- 45 volunteers
- 1.5km (out of 7km) of beach was cleaned
- 2.5 hours of work (10:00 - 12:30)
- 60 bags (65x90) filled with plastic and other rubbish

The organizers would like to thank the following:

- All the volunteers - of all ages.
- The board of the 'Philipos Vlachos' Association for the provision of water and active participation in the clean-up.
- The board of the Ag. Panteleimonos Cultural Society for their participation.
