Corfu Mayor meets with Greek Consul General in New York

Corfu Mayor, Kostas Nikolouzos, and President of Corfu Chamber of Commerce, Giorgos Hondroyiannis, had a meeting at the Consulate General in New York with the Consul General, Konstantinos Koutras.
The Consul for New York Lana Zochiou was also present at the meeting.
According to the press release from the Mayor's Office: "At the meeting the Mayor discussed the general problems being faced by local authorities and gifts were exchanged with the Consul General and the New York Consul.
The President of the Chamber of Commerce, Giorgos Hondroyiannis, talked about the challenges and problems that professionals in Corfu are facing.
Mr. Koutros and Ms. Zochiou thanked Mr. Nikolouzos and Mr. Hondroyiannis for the visit and the opportunity to exchange views with them. In particular, the Consul General talked about the enormous potential of the Greek diaspora on all levels - academic, business and financial. He pointed out that the Greek diaspora in America is very powerful and on an international level has been able to help the country significantly."
