Corfu delegation to take part in the Greek Diaspora Parade on 5th Avenue

NEW YORK. This year΄s celebrations for the Greek rebirth culminate with a parade of all the Greek diaspora organizations on 5th Avenue in New York. The parade, which takes place on Sunday 22nd April, is held at this time every year.
A delegation from Corfu, led by Mayor Kostas Nikolouzos, was invited to attend the events, which are being coordinated by the Greater New York Federation of Greek Associations. The most recent meeting of the diaspora organization committee took place on Thursday at the Stathakis Cultural Centre in Astoria, where the President of the Federation, Mr. Galatoulas, announced the masters of ceremony for the parade.
The Corfu delegation will be meeting with a large number of representatives of Greek organizations in New York.
