Fire breaks out near Corfu Psychiatric Hospital

CORFU. A shop with agricultural merchandise near the Psychiatric Hospital caught fire early this morning.
The Fire Service took a call at around 1:10am. 3 vehicles and 10 firemen went to the scene and by 2am it had been extinguished. The fire broke out at the back of the shop but fortunately, it didn’t spread to the upper floors in the apartment block.
According to the Fire Service, there was major damage. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
