Argentine Ambassador meets Mayor of Corfu

CORFU.The Ambassador for Argentine in Greece, Carolina Pérez Colman, met with the mayor of Corfu, Kostas Nikolouzos, at the Old Town Hall yesterday .
At the meeting, the bonds of friendship and common characteristics of the two peoples were reconfirmed.
The Ambassador stated that the purpose of her visit was to develop the area of tourism, as Greece is a popular destination for Latin Americans. Directly related to tourism are the fields of culture, trade and research and she could see great opportunities for collaboration between the two countries in these areas.
The mayor pointed out the common elements that connect Greece and Argentine and emphasised the particular characteristics of our island and the opportunities for collaboration.
