Tree falls on moving car on Eth.Paleokastritsa Road

CORFU. The remarkable incident occurred near Felekas due to strong winds – the driver escaped completely unharmed, without even a scratch.
An incredible incident that, by sheer luck, did not turn into a tragedy occurred on Tuesday night (21/07) in Corfu. During the severe weather and strong winds that swept across the island, a large tree fell onto a passing car on the Eth. Paleokastritsa Road near Felekas.
The tree crushed the vehicle while it was moving, causing extensive damage. Despite the force of the impact, the driver managed to get out of the car on her own without suffering even the slightest injury, astonishing those who witnessed the incident.
Fire Service crews arrived immediately to cut up and remove the fallen tree and clear the road, while police officers were also dispatched to manage traffic. The road was temporarily closed until the debris had been cleared and the carriageway was made safe.
