Thinalia Philharmonic Society:Enrolment for music classes has begun

CORFU. Thinalia Philharmonic Society, based in Acharavi, has beeen in existence since 1993.
Every year the Society offers free music lessons to children in the area. This year enrolment began on Monday 2 September and will continue until Saturday 28 September - on Wednesdays and Saturdays 17:00 - 21:00 and 6976 814639.
There are free classes in theory, woodwind, brass and percussion. Last year the Society worked with the Ionian University Music Department, Trikala Philharmonic Society and the Klironomos arts workshop. As a result there were innovative performances both in Acharavi and Corfu Town.
This year more such projects are foreseen as well as concerts at local schools.
