Central Corfu & Diapontia Islands Mayor Meropi Ydraiou met with the new Ionian Islands Regional Fire Chief Dimitris Georganos and Corfu Fire Chief Nikos Kolovos this afternoon.
The main topic of discussion at the courtesy meeting was fire safety and collaboration between the Municipal Civil Protection Service and the Fire Department.
The Mayor thanked the Regional Fire Chief for the visit and wished him every success in his work.
