The first schools in Greece to close due to coronavirus

Just two days after opening the first schools in Greece have closed due to coronavirus.
According to a Ministry of Education statement, 5 schools and a section of one school have closed for between three and twelve days.
- 2nd Kaisariani High School, Athens
- 2nd Vouton Primary School, Heraklion
- B5 section of Pirgos 2nd Junior High School
The above will remain closed until 27 September.
The Special Education Nursery and Primary School in Kallithea, Lemnos will remain closed until 18 September, as will the 7th Primary School in Alexandria, Imathia.
