CORFU. The owner of a catering establishment was arrested and along with being fined the business was closed for 3 days.
Police checks are continuing in order to ensure that the measures to prevent the spread of coronvirus are being adhered to.
Between Friday 11th and Monday 14th the owner of a catering establishment in Corfu was arrested for remaining open after midnight. He was fined 10,000 Euros and the business closed for three days. The charges against him were passed on to the Prosecutor.
Mask fines
During the same period there were violations of the mandatory mask-wearing measure - 52 in Corfu, 5 in Zakynthos and 3 in Cephalonia. In each case a fine of 150 Euros was imposed.
