18 new cases of coronavirus in Greece today and no deaths
ATHENS. 11 of the cases are cluster cases - Total number of cases is now 2,903 - 17 patients intubated in ICUs.
The Ministry of Health announced that there were 18 new cases of coronavirus in Greece today, Wednesday 27 May. 11 of these were cluster cases and 2 from checks on repatriates.
The total number of cases is now 2,903, of which 55.2% are males.
627 (21.6%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 1,645 (56.7%) are from contacts with known cases.
17 patients remain intubated, whose average age is 70. 4 (23.5%) are females and 82.4% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 102 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The good news is that there were no deaths today. The total number of fatalities remains at 173, of which 52 (30.1%) were females. The average age was 76 and 94.8% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
To date 166,245 tests have been carried out.
