Car falls over road edge on Pantokrator

CORFU. The car fell on Monday evening and according to information received, the driver was conscious and taken by an ambulance from the private Ionian Care Clinic.
A car came off the road on Monday evening and fell over the edge just 500 metres from the top of Pantokrator. Four fire engines with eight firefighters went to the scene and freed the trapped driver.
According to information received, the 51-year-old woman driver was fortunate in that the fall was broken by trees. There were no serious injuries and she was still conscious.
She was taken to Corfu Hospital by an ambulance from the private Ionian Care Clinic.
