Heated accommodation for those in need until Sunday

CORFU. Available at municipal premises in Koulines from today, Friday 11th to Sunday 13th March.

Central Corfu & Diapontia Islands Municipality has announced that according to the Greek Meteorological Service low temperatures are expected over the next few days in the area.

For this reason, heated accommodation will be available at Municipal premises in Koulines from today, Friday 11th to Sunday 13th March to provide temporary shelter for the homeless and others in need.

The heated accommodation will be available from 20:00 to 08:00 and is locatedin the municipal building which houses the Civil Protection Department in Koulines.

The premises are in Corfu Town and are easily accessible by bus (nos. 8 and 11 to Koulines bus stop) or on foot.

All those using the facility must adhere to Covid measures.

1. Centre for Daily Care for the Homeless at Solomou 11
 
2. Municipal Community Shop & Kitchen at Mitr. Methodiou & Kolokotroni 3

3. Community Centre in St. Desylla St. next to the Municipal Theatre.

Central Corfu & Diapontia Islands Municipality is collaborating with volunteers from the Corfu branch of the Hellenic Red Cross to provide space with heating whenever there are low temperatures.
