ATHENS. EODY announced 2,098 laboratory confirmed new cases on Sunday 24 October - including 10 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 2,098 confirmed new cases today. 10 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 716,358, of which 50.8% are males. Over the last 7 days, 145 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 3,164 are connected with known cases.
There were 30 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 15,628. 95.3% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
365 patients are intubated in ICUs. 321 (87.95%) of intubated patients are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, 44 (12.05%) are completely vaccinated. The average age is 66 and 80.3% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 3,282 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The number of new hospital admissions is 253 (+5.86%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 226.
